Course Objective

Explain the principles of phase equilibria that allows the construction and interpretation of phase diagrams in terms of thermodynamic relations. Explain the solubility, equilibrium and the development of equilibrium and non- equilibrium microstructures and their effect on material properties in uniary, binary and ternary systems.
